Feel the pulse

Recently I was going through a rather tough time. And I thought I was the only one having it tough. But this CNY gave me time to sit down with my buddy, and we had a good chat. 'Cause I am stuck in this tiny island while my family and the person I love are far away. But there's always another day for that story. Today, it's about feeling the pulse.

And if you're reading this, my dear friend, just remember that life is wonderful.

You know, it's funny that things we feared most never seem to materialise. But the very things that we never saw coming, comes our way on an idle Sunday afternoon. The sort of things that sideline you, without giving you proper warning, or indication.

Sometimes it's really hard to comprehend the whole scenario. But have you stop to look at it in a different light? Or sort of give it at least a considerable amount of thought? You know we are so involved in our lives, we never really stop to appreciate the things around us. Like the wind, or the birds, or even the girl you seem to fall in love with.

It takes a little more than just pure luck that we are where we are now. And one way or the other, you will have to take a side, regardless where the road takes you. And it helps if you know there is somebody, anybody, there to walk the road with you.

I'm no saint, so I ain't gonna promise I will be there forever. But what I can do now is to tell you that the time has come for you to make a choice. So make a choice.

Anyway, you do know that at least you don't have to put weird stuff up your ass =)

And for what it's worth, just stop and feel the pulse.
